I earned my master’s degree in Administration, Economics and Finance at the University of L’Aquila as well as my bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business. My Master thesis was about the International Integration and the Cohesion Policies in
Abruzzo. My aim was to reconstruct the evolutionary path of the Abruzzo’s economy from the post-war period to these days and its framing within the European Cohesion Policies, with a focus on the National Strategy for Inner Areas as a particular aspect of the new 2014-2020 programming period of regional policies. It has been interesting to investigate this Strategy
since it plays an important role in the recovery of the Italian economic and social development, concerning all the regions.

During my studies I obtained the Erasmus scholarship, which allowed me to study at the faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw, attending the classes on Mathematical Methods in Finance and Theory of Finance, and the Erasmus Intensive Language Course scholarship at the National Defence University of Warsaw, which gave me the opportunity to learn basic Polish.

After the graduation I spent 5 months as internship at the ITA - Italian Trade Agency, the government organization which promotes the internationalization of Italian companies, having the chance to collaborate in the planning and realization phase of internationalization projects.

Besides economics and regional development, I am also very keen on literature. In my spare time you can always find me with a book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
