Daniele Guffanti is a PhD student in Astroparticle Physics at GSSI.

Before being enrolled in the PhD programme, during the years of his MSc he worked on the development of instrumentation for high energy physics, in particular on the calorimeters readout by means of SiPMs. After his thesis on exotic atoms spectroscopy he obtained a scholarship for recent graduates at the Trieste INFN section.

Since he started his PhD at GSSI his main research interest is experimental neutrino physics. He joined the Borexino collaboration at Gran Sasso INFN National Laboratories where he is involved in the data analysis for the measurement of the solar neutrino fluxes.
