AIELLO Lorenzo

Lorenzo Aiello is a PhD student in Astroparticle Physics at GSSI. He graduated at the University of Rome Tor Vergata with a master thesis in Physics regarding the optimization of sensors and actuators for the correction of optical aberrations in Advanced Virgo. He is in the Virgo experiment and in the LIGO/VIRGO collaboration from 2015. His current research activity is developed with the Virgo Tor Vergata group and concerns R&D projects for advanced and third generation gravitational waves interferometric detectors; some of the activity is also developed directly on the Virgo experiment, concerning the integration and the commissioning of the Advanced VIRGO thermal compensation system.
