I was born in Fermo in 1989. I got my bachelor degree at University of Camerino, with a thesis on the thermal noise in the last stage suspension of Virgo. In my master degree program, at La Sapienza University of Rome, I focused on experimental particle physics. For the master thesis I have started to work on CALDER, an R&D project of the experiment CUORE aimed to develop a new cryogenic light detectors, based on phonon-mediated KIDs (Kinetic Inductance Detectors).

In particular I have designed the new geometry of the KID sensors and I have characterised the absolute calibration system used to test the prototypes. During my PhD. I’ll primarily work on LUCIFER, a collaboration dedicated to developing a scintillating bolometer array for Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay and rare events search.
