Antonio Condorelli is a PhD student at Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI). Previously, he got his bachelor and master thesis at University of Catania, both in time and both cum laude. Thanks to his good grades, he was able to spent seven months in Netherlands, working in Radboud University of Nijmegen for his master thesis inside the Pierre Auger collaboration. He developed a new trigger system for the radio stations in AERA (Auger Engineering Radio Array) under the supervision of Charles Timmermans and Sijbrand De Jong. Currently, he decides to remain inside the Pierre Auger Collaboration, working with Sergio Petrera and Francesco Salamida on a different task.

His current research interests concerning ultra high  energy cosmic rays detection and phenomenology too. He is also interested in divulgation of science: he was one of the nine winners of FameLab Italy, local selection.
