Post-doctoral research fellow

I am an urban geographer. I earned Ph.D. from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and have been working there as assistant professor since 2009. A very valuable experience for me was a research stay at Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research in Leipzig (May 2009 - February 2010), which was made possible by a scholarship of the German Federal Environmental Foundation, as well as several shorter teaching and research visits at other institutions. My research interests are focused on the process of urban development, its causes and consequences. I am particularly interested in issues like housing market, local transportation systems and mobility, urban regeneration, and urban policy. After work I like to spend time with my family, read books of different sorts, and visit new places.
